Opinions are imperfect. And yet worth sharing

I used to hesitate before sharing my opinion. I am a way better listener than I am a speaker. Or so I thought. But underneath it all lies the fear of being wrong: saying something wrong, something I missed, something that is common knowledge but somehow not to me.

One thing I learned from life coaching is: don’t overthink in sharing your opinion. Because in the end, it is just that: a subjective point of view based on the information you have at the moment. Opinions can change over time as we gain more knowledge. Opinions can be incomplete, and more importantly, are always biased.

Opinions are imperfect means of communication, and we hesitate to be imperfect all the freakin time. This is your reminder to share and contribute.

Let’s create a promise. Let’s speak up even if we feel the fear. Be bold, but respectful. Let’s be brave but kind. Share your opinion.
